This is a polished Komon
kimono with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is dyed with Ise Katagami, which was carved by human national treasure, Yujiro Nakamura.
The 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern emerges out elegantly against the chic background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
There is a stamp of the dyer on the right front panel.
It has two light brownish stains on the left back bodice.
(Each of them is at about 42cm(16.5in) and about 37cm(14.5in) from the bottom.)
It has wear on the end of the collar, because it was re-tailored to shift the former one.
(They will be hidden when worn.)
Quite slight discoloration can be seen on the lining.
If you don't mind the stains, it is still in very good condition to wear.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
