This is a Houmongi
Kimono with 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and 'Sasa'(bamboo leaves) pattern, which is dyed with "Katazome"(stencil-dyed) technique.
Its vibrant pattern looks beautiful against the deep green background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has rather crisp touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
Tiny patinas can be seen in places of the pattern. (C)
Although not shown on the figure, it has several whitish and small molds on such as the right front panel.
It is discolored overall. Especially one on the left collar is prominent.(B)
It has a whitish fray on the left collar.(D) Although not shown on the figure, it has 5 similar flaws on the right front panel. (They can be hidden when worn.)
It has some other flaws such as quite slight discoloration on the 'Douura' (upper lining).

Although not shown on the figure and the photo, front and back of both sleeve seams are slightly frayed.
It smells of mold.
