This is a gorgeous Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of such as traditional 'Ume'(Plum blossoms), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Kikko' (tortoise shell) on 'Tabane-noshi' (tied gift wrapping paper), which is woven.
Textile is exquisite rather thick silk and has smooth touch.
It also has "HATSURIKOU"(small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
The 'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
The real base color is more greenish than photos, and it may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
Irregular dyeing can be seen on the threads, and ones on the Tare end will be noticeable when tied.(refer to the 2nd flaw photo)
Smudge can be seen along the crease, but it is slight and not so disturbing.
Stain (A) are slight and not noticeable.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines and slight discoloration overall (refer to the 3rd flaw photo).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has some flaws, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
