This is a Nagoya obi
with a design of 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles) on 'katawaguruma'(wheels of royal cart), which is woven.
The design woven with gold and silver foil threads are gorgeously shining against the tranquil background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There are many more stains than the mentioned, such as near the 'Maegara'(front patterned part).
It has some other flaws such as peeling spots of foil threads woven in the background and folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has some flaws, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
