This is a charming Komon
Kimono with 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) arabesque pattern, which is dyed with katazome technique.
Textile is like chirimen (crepe) silk and has soft and textured touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
The patinas are relatively noticeable with its pale colored background.
As the figure shown, it has slight discoloration.(A)
The prominent stain on the back will be hidden by obi, as it is near uchiage(re-sewed the length). ¼£¼ÌB¼£¼Í
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though not indicated, it has prominent patinas and stains on the left back bottom, and wide range light brown stain around 37.4in(95cm) from the bottom.
However, if these stains and patinas do not bother you, it could be worn.
Please enjoy this piece for daily use or for kimono dressing practice.
