This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with glamorous flower on circle pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven on the design shine modestly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Its length is rather short. 131.89in(335cm)
'Maegara' (front patterned part) changes depending on the way of wrapping.
It has prominent stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part). (A)
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), they will be hidden.
It has slight discoloration overall.
Though it has stains on upper otaiko(square bow'shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles), they are not so noticeable if tied neatly.
It seems like the original owner of this obi enjoyed many fancy bow.
So that there are folding lines and wrinkles through out.
