This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with flowing water design on ombre dyeing.
It has been dyed on tataki-zome(dyeing by smashing into the ground)-like background.
Textile is glossy silk and has soft touch.
It has woven Honmon(arranged Sayagata pattern) on it.
Hakkake(lower part of lining) has kanoko dots by shibori(tie-dye).
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
It is discolored slightly overall, but it is not so disturbing.

Although there is no figure and photo, lining also has a quite slight discoloration.
If you do not mind these small flaws, it can continue to be worn at formal occasion.
