This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with a design of such as 'Sasa'(bamboo leaves), 'Kiri'(paulownia) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'Kasumi'(mist) and 'Hishi'(diamond shape), which is embroidered.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) and 'Raden'(design in mother-of-pearl inlay) are added to the Otaiko(square bow) and the 'Maegara'(front patterned part).
Resin-like gold glazing are added is is background, and it has smooth touch like leather.
Textile is exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
It has flaws such as slight folding lines, but it is in very good condition as a whole.
