This is a charming Komon
Kimono with 'Tsubaki' (camellia) pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
The background is ombre dyeing and has dyed Shiba(grass) pattern.
Woven leaf pattern with full of gold foil threads are added on its base.
Textile is exquisite glossy silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
It has rather large stains around the back side seams, and stains on the left front panel and bottom are bothering as well.
Though the discoloration on the outside is slight, the lining is relatively discolored and has tiny holes on the sleeve.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
It seems to be not suitable to wear due to the prominent flaws.
The wonderful textile could be useful for your handicraft.
