This is a Houmongi
kimono with a design of 'Shou-chiku-bai'(auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line) and 'Jigami'(fan shape), which is embroidered on the elegant 'tataki-zome'(dyed it smashed into the ground) style background.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) are used for the design in places.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The wear is rather prominent, but not disturbing with its base color. (A)
Stains are also not disturbing so much.(B)
It has some other flaws such as discoloration overall (hardly disturbing).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
If you don't mind those minor flaws, it is still in very good condition to wear.
Depend on obis, you can enjoy various types of kimono coordination.
