This is a vintage Meisen
Kimono with 'housouge'(large karabana flower) on diamond pattern, which is woven on the elegant shading background.
Textile is silk and jinken(rayon) blend and has soft and comfortable touch.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar) and sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
'Douura' (upper lining) is cotton.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Holes like (A) can be seen in places such as right front sleeve.
It has a stripe like rather prominent stain (E) on bodice.
However, discoloration of left front panel is not so bothering with the shading background.
There are other flaws such as stains (B) and slight discoloration on Douura.
Please check detail photos.
Also, one right collar end is seamed, although it is not indicated on the figure.
Though it has flaws by ages, please enjoy its retro and cute design of vintage.
