This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Kiri'(paulownia) on fan pattern, which is woven.
Its vibrant pattern is eye-catching.
Its length is rather short. 323cm(10'5")
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It seems to be a remodeled piece from Maru Obi.
The otaiko pattern is set upside down, and it's to be tied in 'hikinuki' style, and the solid part of the wrong side will show at Tare end.
The pattern of the wrong side is the right direction.
Some threads are missing caused by frays on the edges and the background.
Discoloration can be seen overall.
It has some other flaws such as a seam on the Tare.
Though it has some flaws, please enjoy its retro design of vintage!
