This is a Oshima Tsumugi
kimono with 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps) pattern, which is woven.
It has fine cross kawuri pattern, which is elaborately woven.

silk and has smooth touch, which is the feature of Oshima Tsumugi
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has red uneven spot of weaving on the left front panel.

It has light brownish stains on such as the left front panel, around the back bottom and on the left back cuff.
Indicated discoloration on the outside and inside is slight.
