This is a graceful Houmongi
Kimono with a design of 'kiri'(paulownia)on cloud, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has a embroidered kamon(family crest) on the nape.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
It has patinas around the basting stitches on the cuffs and bottom, and brownish stains on the sleeve.
It also has slight discoloration on the shibori(tie-dye) and the lining.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It seems to be not suitable to wear due to the patinas and discolorations.
The wonderful textile could be useful for your handicraft and for kimono dressing practice.
