This vintage Nagoya obi
has such as 'Kasumi'(mist) and 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) on mountain pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch.
There is no Kaikiri line and it seems to be remake from Maru Obi.
It has a seam on the wrong side of the Otaiko(square bow).
It has patinas and a stain on the Otaiko(square bow).
It has frays on the Tare corners and both edges throughout.
It is prominently discolored overall.
It has tears on the edge of the 'Maegara'(front patterned part).
It has a repaired tear on the Tesaki.
It has some other flaws such as rather prominent folding lines.

This piece is not suitable to wear, because the fabric became weak due to its age.
It must be an amazing handicraft material.
