This is a 'Zentsu'(fully patterned) Fukuro obi
by Yasuhiro Chiji, who is one the most famous contemporary kimono designers.
It has 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) and 'housouge'(large karabana flower) on 'tanzaku'(strip of paper) pattern, which are woven.
Its gorgeous, yet sophisticated design with brilliant gold foil threads is suitable to tie at formal occasions.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
May be, this piece was tied in fancy bow. Slight folding lines are remained from Tare end to Tesaki end.
