This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with stream design, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dyed) technique on the chic gray background.
Such as 'Yukiwa'(snow crystal), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and ivy designs are embroidered.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) are added to the main parts.
Textile is exquisite glossy silk with woven sayagata pattern and has soft touch.
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Slight discoloration can be seen on the left sleeve, collar and back bodice.(A) (*Actually, they are not noticeable as the photos.)
Also, the lining is discolored quite slightly.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it has sense of ages, it's still wearable enough on formal occasions.
Please enjoy its graceful and classical design.
