This is a Maru obi
with 'Kiri'(paulownia) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'Tatewaku'(waving line) pattern, which is woven on the vivid green background.
The dynamic pattern which is woven with gold and silver foil threads is gorgeous.
Textile is jinken (rayon).
Rather stiff lining is added inside.
It has patinas overall.
It has smudges on both edges throughout.
Maybe, this piece was tied in fancy bow.
It has prominent folding lines throughout, though it is indicated partway on the figure.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although not shown on the figure, it has prominent discoloration on the wrong side of Tare end.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its dynamic design!
