This is a Houmongi
Kimono with a design of 'fukinagashi'(streamer) with 'Karabana'(imaginary flower in China) arabesque and kanoko dots, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dyed) technique.
'Oshidori' (mandarin duck) are dyed on the bottom.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven sayagata pattern and has soft touch.
It is sewn by Yamato, one of the famous Japanese kimono shop.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Although not shown on the figure, the 'Douura' (upper lining) is discolored quite slightly.
There is not other prominent flaw.
It's still wearable enough on formal occasions.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
