This is a Houmongi
kimono with a design of 'Shou-chiku-bai'(auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), flowers such as 'Botan'(peony), 'Kaede'(maple leaf) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), and residence, which is dyed and embroidered partly with drawn work technique.
The soft colored embroidery on the tranquil colored background is elegant.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The stain on the back bodice is rather disturbing.(B)
Rust stain caused by snap button can be seen on the lining. (A)
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although not shown on the figure, it has a little bothering two snags on the embroidered part, about 26cm(10.2in) from the bottom of the left side seam.
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its chic design!
