This is a shioze Nagoya obi
designed by Sansai Saito.
It has dyed rainbow colored artistic design, and it has no 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the left side of the otaiko(square bow).
It has smudges throughout the edges.
It has stains on otaiko(square bow).
It also has slight folding lines.

Though it has some flaws, it could be worn if these minor flaws do not bother you.

Ever since his work was appeared in a popular magazine "the beautiful kimono" in 1965, he came to be taken up by various media such as TV and magazines.
His son, Jotaro, has also succeeded as a kimono designer and works actively at present.
