This is an antique cotton Kimono form around early Meiji period(1868-1912).
It has kiri(paulownia) design, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile seems to be tasteful hand spun cotton, and has soft touch.
It is considered to be dyed with natural ai in Tohoku district.

Shibori parts are discolored, and there are fray and holes on the mottom, and tears on the collar.
Lining has patinas and discoloration due to its old age.
Also it has other flaws, so please check detail photos.

However, we really recommend this precious antique item, which must be an artistic interior decor!
Please enjoy it at your hands.
