This is a Houmongi
kimono with refined 'shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Tsubaki'(Camellia) and bamboo fence pattern, which is dyed.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Basting stitches are remained partly, and it maybe after being cleaned.
There are prominent whitish spots of mold. (A), described as stains.
It has some other flaws, such as slight smudge on lining of both cuffs, as shown on photos.
It has slight musty smell.
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn even on a formal occasion!
