This is a graceful Fukuro obi
with a design of such as 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower), 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China), oshidori (mandarin duck) and classical one on 'Tanzaku'(strip of paper), which is dyed and embroidered.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added gorgeously on the dyed motifs.
Textile is exquisite Tsumugi
silk and has soft, yet nubby touch with rusty atmosphere.
The length is rather long. 182.68in(464cm)
It has slight folding lines, although they are not disturbing for wearing.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Therefore, it is in very good conditions as a whole.
Please enjoy its chic yet eye-catchy design!
*The actual background color is more greenish than the photos.
