This is a chic Houmongi
Kimono with autumn flower design such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Nadeshiko'(dianthus) and 'Kikyo'(Chinese bellflower) on vibrant mountain range, which is dyed.
Gold glazing and vibrant hue is eye-catchy.
Fine embroidery work is added on the main parts.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven sayagata pattern and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded), and hiyoku (additional layer) is attached.
It has 3 dyed kamon(family crest).
The actual background color is relatively more reddish than the photos.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
It has patinas partially.
Most of them are not so bothering, but the ones on the left front panel are prominent(A).
The stains on the back bottom are not noticeable with its background.(C)
The outside is slightly discolored overall.
It has some other flaws such as quite slight discoloration on the hiyoku (additional layer) and on the lining.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has aged feeling, the Kimono can be worn.
Please enjoy its graceful classical design!
