This is a Houmongi
kimono with fine embroidery and drawn work of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and kikyo 'bell flower' pattern.
The pattern is also dyed.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Kasane eri (layered collar) of Tsujigahana
dyed pattern is attached.
It has basting stitches, and it maybe after being cleaned.
There are prominent stains on left front panel, back panel and Hakkake 'lower lining'. (A.B)
Discoloration on lining is not disturbing.
