This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with a princess in Heian period (794-1185), "Matsu"(pine tree), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and other flowers on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line) pattern, which is woven.
Its graceful design with lots of foil threads is suitable to tie at formal occasions.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
It doesn't have a stiff lining inside.
There are patinas and discoloration throughout.
The discoloration is very slight, and not noticeable.
The patinas are noticeable. Those on 'taresaki'(end of wide part) and 'otaiko'(square bow) will be seen when you tie it.
There are some other flaws such as smudges on the both sides, folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
Enjoy wearing the elegant design.
