This is a Fukuro obi
with 'Botan'(peony) arabesque and butterfly design, which is woven with 'kushiori' (comb weaving) technique.
The gold embroidery looks beautiful on the thin and light fabric.
The embroidery may be using the threads made from golden cocoon.
It is not transparent like summer wear, but the texture is tasteful.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
As the figure shown, it has discoloration on the half place of the obi.
Although not shown on the figure, it also has discoloration on the lower Otaiko(square bow).
Also, it seems to have slight ones on both edges.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has discoloration, please enjoy wearing it as everyday clothes.
