This is an elegant Nagoya obi
by Tatsumura Textile co., ltd, one of the most leading textile companies in Japan.
It has 'Kikko' (tortoise shell) 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven with gold foil threads.
The design with gold foil threads looks beautiful on the chic colored background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The Tare end has been opened for about 8cm(3.1in) to check its weaver.
Also, there is 'Tatsumura' at the inside tare.
Although indicated as discoloration on the figure, the inside threads are seen through, so they are not flaws.
There are many more stains than the mentioned on such as the Otaiko(square bow), 'Maegara'(front patterned part) and blank part.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has some flaws, it is still in very good condition to wear.
