This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'Matsu'(pine tree) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) diamond on hazy mist pattern, which is woven.
The colorful design emerges out dynamically against the ivory background.
Gold foil threads woven on the design are elegantly shining.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It has slight stains on such as lower the otaiko(square bow) and on the wrong side.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Therefore, it is in very good conditions as a whole.
Please enjoy its charming classical design!
*Though the photo shows uneven color dyes by the angle of light, actual background color is one color.
