This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), nandina and 'botan' (peony) on 'shikishi'(square paper) pattern, which are woven.
Its gorgeous, yet sophisticated design with glittering gold and silver foil threads is suitable to tie at formal occasions.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Overall edge is frayed and foils of foil threads are peeled off. They look blackish. (*It's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.)
However, peelings of foils seem not to be so bothering when tied.
There are a couple of other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
It has flaws, but we hope you enjoy tying this piece!
Please enjoy its sophisticated fashion!
