This is a Hon-Fukuro Obi by Kawashima Weaving Co, one of the most famous obi weavers.
It has woven flower and sasa-zuru(leaves and nuts of bamboo on creeper) pattern, which is woven.
Its bright designs and gold foil threads stand out against its grayish black background.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
There are three lines on the taresaki(end of wide part), a gourd-shaped war fan mark on the inside of taresaki, which are the trade marks of Kawashima.
Thought it doesn't bother to wear it, it has slight folding lines, so please check detail photos.
However, it is still a very good condition.
Please enjoy this fascinating design, adding extra elegance to your kimono fashion!
