This is a Fukuro obi
with a large young pine pattern, which is embroidered on the gold background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), folding lines will show. Its width of Maegara is wide.
Frays can be seen on embroideries overall, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture. Embroidery threads are fluffing.
Also, discoloration can be seen overall.
Discoloration and patinas on Maegara seem not to be so bothering when tied.
Smudges of edges of wrong side of Maegara are especially prominent. (However, they can be hidden when tied.)
There are several other flaws such as a folding line, smudges on the line and stains.
Please check detail photos.
It has flaws, but we hope you enjoy this glamorous piece!
