This is a Tsumugi
Kimono designed by Isshin Oowaki, a well known Tsujigahana
dyer in Japan.
Sumi ink drawn and Shibori(tie-dye) dyed Tsujigahana
pattern is zestfully appealing.
There is a stamp and signature of Oowaki on the right front panel.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has basting stitches, and it maybe after being cleaned.
Its lining is slightly discolored due to the age. (just slightly) (sorry no photos)
It has no other noticeable flaws, and it is in very good condition overall.
It can continue to be worn without any problems!
We would like you to enjoy this fabulous Tsujigahana
piece by Ishiin Oowaki.
