This is a "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi with tightly folded end of belt part) Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya Obi.
It has designs of cloud and 'shikishi'(square paper), which are woven.
Noble people is woven on shikishi design.
Silver foil threads are woven on the background and gold foil threads are woven on the design.

One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
Textile is rather thick silk and has somewhat crisp touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.

It has 3 stains on the wrong side.
A stain can be seen on Tesaki.
There is a small snag on blank part.
Also, it has a rather prominent folding line.
Please check detail photos.

It has several flaws, but it still can be tied.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!

*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
