This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'oshidori'(mandurin duck) and lovely 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), which is woven.
The colorful design emerges out dynamically against the black background.
Gold foil threads woven on the design are elegantly shining.
Textile is rather thick silk and has rather crisp touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
There is not prominent flaw.
Please enjoy its charming classical design!
