This is a Houmongi
Kimono with a design of house, 'matsu'(pine tree), 'ume'(Japanese plum) and bridge, which is dyed and embroidered with drawn work technique.
Gold foil threads are elegantly shining on the pale base color.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded).
There are 2 dyers stamps on right front panel.
It has a dye kamon.
The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
There is no design on right back sleeve.
Wear is prominent. (A)
There is a small yet rather prominent blackish stain (B) on left collar. (*It is hard to be seen by photos.)
Discoloration on the overall base color is not so bothering.
Please check detail photos.
It has a sense of use, but we hope you enjoy this sophisticated design from Japanese classical motif.
