This is a Houmongi
kimono with flowers such as 'Botan'(peony), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'kikyou'(balloon flower), 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and 'Sakura'(cherry blossom) on graceful horizontal stripe pattern, which is dyed.
Main parts of the left front panel are embroidered.
Textile is 'chirimen'(crepe) silk and has soft touch.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
It has a tiny dyestuff (A) (*indicated as stain on the figure) and a snag on the left front panel.
It has some other flaws such as quite slight discoloration on the 'Douura' (upper lining).

Although it has some flaws, they are not disturbing for wearing.
