This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with a 'kiribame' (patchwork) design of such as 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) and 'Karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'Kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps), which is embroidered with shazashi technique.
It has 'Hanabishi'(flower-diamond) pattern, which is woven with gold foil threads on the background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and light touch.
There is not folding lines and it seems to be untied one.
Although not shown on the figure and the photo, foils of foil threads are peeling off along the crease under the Otaiko(square bow) design and they become blackish. (They will be hidden when tied.)
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
