This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with vase motif with 'ajisai'(hydrangea) and lily, which is woven.
Yellow and green transparent foils on the silver background add elegance to it.
'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It seems like the original owner of this obi enjoyed many fancy bow. So that there are folding lines and wrinkles through out.
It has some other flaws such as stains.

Although it seems to be well worn, it still is a very charming obi to wear!
