This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with loquat design, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the base and the design are gorgeously shining.
Textile is jinken (rayon) and has rather crisp touch.
The length is rather short. 10'7"(328.5cm)
The loosen stitches will be disturbing when tied.
Discoloration due to its age can be seen overall.
Although not shown on the figure and the photo, black smudges can be seen on the designed part and they will be noticeable.
Besides a tiny snags (refer to the 6th flaw photo), it has a large snag on the one side of 'Maegara'(front patterned part) of the right side.
It has some other flaws such as a fray.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its retro vintage design!
