This is a Oshima Tsumugi
Kimono with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'matsukawa-bishi'(pine bark hishi) pattern, which is woven with weft ikat technique.
Flowers emerge out on the chic blueish gray background, and it gives charming impression.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and light touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
As the figure shown, it has discoloration on the outside.
It has large and noticeable stains (A) on the left front panel.
