This is a Komon
Kimono with an exotic 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) pattern, which is dyed.
Its colorful pattern looks graceful on the chic base color.
Textile is exquisite silk with tiny grains and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded).
Basting stitches remain on sleeves and it seems to be just after cleaning.
It is slightly discolored overall. Discoloration of collar is rather prominent. (A)
Patinas are not so bothering with the base color. (C)
There are a couple of other flaws such as rather prominent discoloration of Hakkake (lower part of lining) (It's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.).
Please check detail photos.
It has a bit of aged feeling, but we hope you enjoy wearing this piece!
Please enjoy its appealing classical design!
