This is a Houmongi
Kimono with a design of bamboo leaf and ivy design, which is dyed on the 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) background.
This kimono is designed by Nobuo Nakamura, the first Japanese designer who showed his collection in Paris.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Vibrant colored 'hakkake' (lower part of lining) is lined.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.
It is sewn by Yamato, one of the famous Japanese kimono shop.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
The indicated discoloration is slight and not so bothering.
It has no other prominent flaws, and it is in very good condition.
