This is a appealing vintage Nagoya obi
with flower cart design full of 'Ume' (plum blossom), 'Botan'(peony) and 'Tachibana' (Japanese green citrus), which is finely embroidered.
The embroidery work has three-dimensional glossy beauty.
Textile is glossy 'Shusu'(satin) silk, and has very smooth touch.
Maegara(front patterned part) is in one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
Both ends are frayed.
It has smudges throughout the edges, and fray and stains on upper otaiko(square bow).
The threads are missing on the embroidery work on 'Maegara' (front patterned part).(pohto A)
