This is an antique with 'Takasago' on pine tree design, which is embroidered elaborately.
'Takasago' is one of the auspicious Noh
story about admiring conjugal love and longevity.
Textile is glossy shusu silk and has smooth touch.
It is from Meiji period (1868-1912).
There are frays toward the edges, and the one part is threadbare at the lower left.
Also lining has small tears and slight discoloration.
Please check detail photos.
However, we really recommend this fabulous embroidered design, which must be an artistic interior decor!
Please enjoy it at your hands.
