This is a graceful Tsumugi
hitoe(not lined) Houmongi
with exotic 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) and shibori(tie-dye) on 'kiribame' (patchwork) pattern, which is dyed by Jiro Nishikawa, one of the Japanese Traditional Craftsman.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk, and has light touch with rusty atmosphere.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth) is not attached.
It has an embroidered kamon(family crest) on the nape.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
It has no prominent flaws, and it is in excellent condition.
