This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) and decorative patterns, which are woven on the foiled background.
Silver foil threads woven on the background are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
(Lining is not added inside.)
May be, this piece was tied in fancy bow. Folding lines are rather noticeably remained till Tare end.
Discoloration of foil threads can be seen on the background such as Otaiko and Maegara( front patterned part), It is prominent.
It has tiny patinas overall. (the 5th flaw photo)
Also, other flaws such as discoloration and patinas by ages on the overall wrong side can be seen.
