This is an elegant Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with abstract clouds pattern, which is woven.
The woven gold and silver foiled threads elegantly shine.
There is only one 'maegara' (front patterned part) which will be shown when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right (Rotate obi clockwise), the maegara will appear.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
*The real color of it is a little bit darker than photos.
There is a woven maker's name on the wrong side of 'otaiko'(square bow).
It was woven amazingly with "Tsume Tsuzure" technique. One thread by one thread, elaborately with nails.
It takes incredibly long time to complete. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet and photo, there are small stains (not noticeable) on 'taresaki'(end of wide part), smudges throughout.
There is a 2"(6cm) long line shape stain along the folding line at the upper 'otaiko'(square bow) which will be hidden when you tie it.
There is another faint 1.5"(4cm) line shape stain on 'maegara' (front patterned part) which is not that noticeable.
There are some other flaws such as folding lines, smudges along them.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
Although it has such flaws, it is still in wearable condition.
*The real color of it is a little bit darker and vivid green than photos.
