This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with 'kasumi'(mist), 'kasa-matsu'(spread branches pine tree) and flying crane motifs, which are woven.
Gold foil threads woven on the motifs are elegantly shining.
Textile is thick silk and has rather crisp touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
There is not folding lines and it seems to be untied one.
Stains of Tare end are slight and seem not to be so bothering when tied.
Also, it has a small stain on blank part.
Please check detail photos.
It has stains, but we hope you enjoy tying this piece!
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
